Recommend driving the Cherohala Skyway to Joyce Kilmer National Forest for a day hike. Visit the Charles Hall museum in Tellico Plains (it’s FREE) and the Sequoyah museum and Fort Loudon in Vonore. Note: no cell service at Indian Boundary, but the scenic pull-over just (4-miles) above Indian Boundary cell service signals are accessible.

Great family experience! Bike riding was safe and enjoyable on the Loops. Everyone enjoyed the well-maintained beach area. Store was a hit, especially the ice cream and toys. Campground was quiet when bedtime came. An ocassional dog barking but nothing too disturbing. Men's bathroom on Loop B was very clean each day. There was a clogged toilet each afternoon in the women's bathroom but it was working each morning, which indicates it may need some repair work to make it function properly. Looking forward to camping at Indian Boundary again. Thanks you for making it fun for families.

Very nice campground! The lake is beautiful, big, and the trail around it is a pleasant walk. I was also impressed with the newer bathroom/bath house facilities and I loved the ceiling fans inside these facilities. Made it feel like AC! The scenic drive west on the Skyway is worth taking once, although nothing to see or do in Robbinsville. There's a Walmart Supercenter in nearby Madisonville. We'll definitely be going back!

We always enjoy Indian boundry. Host are very helpful. This year we found out we can actually get ice after hours on the honor system. Where else do you get that?

We have been camping at Indian Boundary for the last 17 years and it is favorite campground by far. The campground was as great as ever, and we really enjoyed our time there.
However, the change in the booking period from 6 months out to only 3 months out has made it very difficult to book a trip at one of our favorite sites on a weekend that we have available. If you want to book a particular weekend (or really any weekend) you need to get on the site and book it as soon as it opens up. This has been a very disappointing change for us, as we usually camp there 3 or 4 times most years.

Restrooms were clean. Host was friendly. An overall good experience. A lot of campers had barking dogs that they either wouldn’t or couldn’t stop them from barking. This is interrupting to the otherwise peaceful sounds of camping. I know Pet’s are allowed however most people do not know how to control them or do not try.
