Great place, mostly quite.
Shame no internet tower/ signal obtainable. While ok to get away, elderly relatives keep our visits short.

Indian Boundary is a great place to camp with family and friends. It's always crowded during the late spring and summer as it is a favorite with the locals on the weekends. But the lake and mountains are beautiful.

Been staying here for over 50 years, so here goes; very clean and kept mowed. Lake trail has come a long way and very enjoyable. No one monitors the beach area and for the past several years there’s been dogs on the beach and even in the water. Last year a German shepherd got away from owner/almost attacked a child/ no security to be found. Pleasant camp hosts but should not have the same ones each year. Way, way too much animal noise and yes we bring our dog. Finally, at 1am, we had to ask neighbors if they cared to quiet dog and banging on something. More security or at least have hosts drive through every hour. We needed a host on one of our recent trips for a semi emergency, we know they were in their camper and was around 7pm, absolutely would not answer. This last visit, our host told us THREE times, we weren’t supposed to be there. I had to THREE times, tell him yes I do have my papers and reservation. He kept repeating a wrong site number and we were standing inside the campsite. I had to show him on his chart our reservation. He was very nice about it. Our second reservation(same wknd) was our older children and when they got at camp AT 4pm, host ask them to take the campsite beside of the one I PAID FOR because they let a “friend” have OUR paid spot for a graduation present! Also tried getting a reservation within 48 hrs for wednesday (one night before), showed no availability but when we got there, only 1/4 to half full...what a waist. Your new reservation system is confusing to everyone, including hosts and not sure who’s benefiting from being able to make a reservation two months only, in advance. The store managers are great and very personable with sharing information and knowing their customers. Wish hosts got out more and did the same. Security is very worrisome. My teenage yrs police or U.S. gov cars monitored beach & camp and also had a lifeguard. We do love it here, many great memories made.

We have been camping at Indian Boundary several times each year for many, many years. It is by far the most beautiful campground ANYWHERE. Whether you are hiking around the lake, swimming, sitting around the campfire or visiting with new and old friends, Indian Boundary is the best place to camp.

Everyone wants A loop but B loop seemed much quieter. Super clean restrooms, kind camp hosts, and an amazing camp store. The hike around the lake and the beach area are gorgeous. We can’t wait to go back!

I'm not going to say anything that will encourage more people to book sites and make it harder for me to get my favorite spots. lol

Indian Boundary is our new favorite place! Been there twice and going back again later on in July. The lake is just beautiful, full of fish to catch & release, the beach is spotless, the trails are easy and relaxing, the whole thing is a great experience. We were in A16 last time next to the water. One drawback there (and the only one) is the main path between our site and the one next to us. It’s a main thoroughfare to the lakes “pier” and 3.2 mile trail. Oh one other drawback, the only firewood you can buy there is greens so plan on buying off site (but close by in town). Please don’t bring your own.
