Shady Oaks RV Park at the Haven

The park it's self is nice and quiet.The grounds are a hit and miss upkeep. The shower house is VERY NICE! There is a laundry room.
Biggest concern is getting hold of the owners. We call, text,and even knock on their door. I don't know why contacting them is so hard. I would move my trailer there if the owners were easier to contact.

I stayed at Shady Oaks RV in Alvord for 7 months & before I can honestly say it was a great experience. Shawn does a great job at making everyone feel comfortable. I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed here for 6 months and enjoyed every minute. The owners are great, and do a great job of keeping the place up. Lots of oak trees give plenty of shade. And there is a small bath house, and a laundry building. We will miss Shaun and the folks, but time to go see some stuff. Would definitely come back.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Lots of shade trees, plenty of open space, management is easy to work with, and the infrastructure is sound. Public restrooms and shared laundry are in good condition. Close to lots of LBJ Grasslands units and spitting distance from Decatur and Alvord both. If you need somewhere to stay in the area, this is the spot.

Very nice RV Park. Stayed 2 nights on our way south for the winter. Plan on staying a month here on our way back. Beautiful park and wonderful staff. Very pet friendly and have a dedicated fenced area for your fur babies to run and play.
