Lake Bastrop North Shore Park

Clean and well managed pubkic park. Rv amneties as well as group sites availale across the dam. Went for a good 8 mile hike and very nice. Excellent fishing and arrive at dusk. Self check in credit card station available. Park host at neighbooring park was extremelly friendly.

Great playground / beach / water spot for the kids. Small camp with a boat ramp and all the amenities you would expect. Jess made the trip extra special, so if she's there, tell her you saw this review for the biggest smiles. Kayaks and Canoes avaliable for rent. Very nice Airstream trailer spots for guests or passers by. Interesting and very large yurts are available for the getaway that mixes at-home with camping.

Clean, easy access with plenty of space, restrooms, three fishing piers, swimming area, playground, and picnic spots. Bank fishing is fine for small panfish or the occasional catfish, but the shallow shoreline means serious anglers need a boat or kayak for the best catch.

Wonderful park that we have been coming to for a very long time for family reunions. Ease of renting. However the Glat camping needs work. Exceedingly Poor communication with the company running GLAT. Air conditioning in one was not working and took a lot to get someone to come help. Airstream rental was great! Pavillion and swim area was great.

Rented an Airstream, good price for 2 adults, 2 kids. Kayak, ice, and wood was included. Fire pit, propane grill, lighting. Its a great set up. Staff is really nice. Lots of RV hookups and cabins here too. We hit the trail on the Mountain bikes. Its 5 miles to the South Shore. It gets really fun (and rocky) when you get on the south end of the trail. Lots of hills to zoom up and down.
