This is my favorite lake when I visit Texas. Excellent bass fishing if you know where to find them.

Was an awesome place to host an event! seen previous comments about people coming in. we did have the same problem if we forget to keep the gate closed but people were really understanding once we let them know we had the place rented out! i'd definitely recommend for birthdays, summer bbqs, etc! the beach area was also perfect to pull up a boat and the boat ramp is also really close!

Great place to bring family, rarely gets full. But pricey for spending the night. But money is used to keep it maintained.

Quiet area to hold small fishing tournaments or family gatherings. Just keep gate shut so uninvited folks don’t park inside. A lot of divers us that area and don’t use their safety equipment that makes it hard on boaters. Wish the bathrooms were closer. I like to use this area

I live close to stillhouse so very convenient. We take our boat out to this lake it so peaceful on this lake and quiet. Great for fishing water is clean for swimming or rafting. Restrooms clean. Just enjoyable quiet lake. Its dog friendly. Take my yorkie on the boat with her life jacket on. Off we go. I even have a sister that comes from out of town. She uses the RV camping area when she comes to visit. She couldn’t believe how nice and clean the lake is. Picnic area our great most have there own pavilion to keep you shaded.. Nice little get away.

Big Pavillion with lots of picnic tables. Charcoal grill was much bigger than expected which was fantastic. Volleyball net was great. The only critique I have is that as soon as we opened the gate to the parking lot, the general public kept coming in. We had to tell several vehicles that this was a private event and we reserved the site. A few of them didn't seem to care or understand that and continued to ask if they could come and sit under the Pavillion. There should be clear signage so that everyone can see this area is for private events. I recommend bringing a large poster board sign to place at the gate or plan to have the gate closed completely the whole time.

When we arrived the pavilion was dirty. There was broken glass and popped balloons everywhere. As well as dirty socks and cigarette butts. The Park Ranger was also super rude and was turning away my guests even though we had the parking lot reserved for the pavilion. Do not rent from these people

The pavilion was not cleaned prior our arrival. There were cigarettes' butts everywhere, cake icing on the tables and seats. Food particles and two pairs of socks left behind. The BARBQ pit wasn't cleaned. The trash attracted flies we had to fight with all day. One side of the pavilion the plug in sockets don't work. One stall of the women's restroom wouldn't flush and full of stuff. The trash around the pavilion hadn't been picked up. We have been reserving this pavilion for many years and this year we were disappointed.
