It was a nice quiet campground. Restroom facility was mostly nice. It was always clean however the hand dryer didn't work and there was no paper towels provided.

We have been working on job sites down in San Antonio and in the Spring Branch area and we recently found out about the rates at the US Corps of Engineers parks. This park offers a small selection of spaces for RV’s but the sites are very ample on space and still allow friendly interaction with temporary neighbors. I highly recommend this park as a place for travelers/full-timers or those just passing through. The volunteers are amazing and accommodating. Great views of the lake and tidy, clean sites.

Spacious, mostly level campground with immaculately kept grounds. Only a few sites with natural shade but new picnic shelters. Plenty of room to roam and walk the dog. One of our favorite ACE parks to date.

No feeding the wildlife in the park. Do NOT attempt to interact with the wild life. Some are protective of their territory, homes, dens, food and young. If you encroach on their space, they may become aggressive.
