We spent three nights in August. The employees at the gate were incredibly kind. There were maybe 3 other rvs there that weekend, so it was lovely and quiet. The park was immaculate. The bathroom/showers were spotless. Grass was well-groomed. Amazing sunsets! Canyon Lake is very low right now, so we didn’t swim. But the campground is lovely and we would come again!

We loved our stay at Crane’s Mill Park, May 27-31, 2024. We were in site #2 and it was a prime spot with shade and a beautiful view of the lake. The campgrounds were clean, well maintained, and the staff were friendly.

Nice, clean, and small park. Lacks shade, has stickers in all of the grass, but it was well kept.
Do not come to fish the bank. The water is super low and the peninsula is surrounded in water weeds. You have pockets of shallow water where you can pick up a couple of bluegill under some rocks by the shore but you need to go to another Canyon Lake park to bank fish well.

Fantastic campground. Very clean, concrete pads, wildlife, friendly volunteers. No sewer or shade, 50 amp electric. AT&T and Verizon worked good enough to stream movies. Great location to visit lots of hill country events and restaurants. Hoping the lake comes up some before summer.

Traveling through the area and needed one night to refill tanks and dump. Nice clean campground with decent space between sites. Nice hosts and clean (older) bath house that could use updating. Lots of deer in the area, so drive carefully.

We enjoyed our stay. A campground volunteer was great and answered questions for us.
The lake was extremely low so we walked shoreline.
