Even though the weather was cold and damp, the CG was a little gem. Paved sites with water and electric. Bathrooms were clean and showers had hot water and heat.

One of the best COEs we have been to!!! The sites are paved, very clean, the hosts are outstanding. The wildlife is abundant, close to amenities like laundry and groceries. Quiet, casual, and a well kept gem! It is now on our favorites list!!

It was clean and quiet. The spots were level. We used it as a base camp and visited caverns and San Antonio.

great location, very good cement site with nice covered picnic table pavllion. if only all private campgrounds and other COE and NPS campgrounds would use this campground as a model to strive for. We enjoyed our 5 night stay here very much. if the sites had sewer hook up we would have rated at 5++ stars. Not their fault the reservoir is so low but we loved the view and sunset views just the same. Nice seeing all the deer and since we were staying off season after the tenting section closed that was super nice to walk our dog and get a quiet peaceful walk out into that section. The gate hosts were very nice, bath house sufficient however the interior boards in shower areas really would benefit from being repaneled with a waterproof wall board instead of the wood which was stained from cleaners, etc. Also, please put more hooks on the walls near showers so we can hang towels and items closer and put a rack in shower to hold toiletries like our own shampoo and soaps. thank you, we will return when in the area.

We enjoyed the stay very much but being workcampers and former business owners, we felt that the campground was miss managed... The whole tent area was shut down but there was a host in the area keeping an eye out. Should this area been open even just for day use the amount of revenue would have greatly increased. We were also disappointed in the cleanliness of the restrooms... although the cleaning is contracted out it was poorly maintained. We will go back as it is a nice and quiet campground, just wish the bathrooms would have been better.

This was a beautiful campground. A bit out side of a small town. Half hour drive to banks, groceries, other beautiful little towns to explore.
The campground is well maintained and the staff helpful and friendly. We camped in an RV, water and electric only. The dump station is well designed. The RV sites are large, 30 sites. There is another park section for tent camping, the sites are larger. The tent area has more tree cover, very nice. There are over 30 tent sites and most have water and electric. All RV and Tent sites have canopies, fire pit, bbq, table.
The lake level was very low, about 25' below normal. All boat ramps on the lake were closed and have been for awhile.
Anothe USACE campground, Potters Creek is across the lake.
