Sizeable sites and great views. The bathhouse was well cleaned and had plenty of hot water. No septic hookup at the site, but a decent dump station available.

Very relaxing campground. Close to shopping and other amenities. Less than an hour to San Antonio’s river walk and Alamo

We loved Cranes Mill Park! The walking and deer viewing were wonderful. The older gentleman at the gatehouse was always friendly, and fun to chat with. Our site wasn’t great, with a dumpster between #21 and #23, and being close to each other. There are many other better sites. We enjoyed our stay very much, and will be back! It was fun to see the pelicans, too!

So welcoming and cheerful hosts. Bath house was clean and micro trash picked up. Great experience.

Lisa and Ken are the best volunteers we have ever had the pleasure to meet. Here we are at another core park where we’ve seen eight volunteers spots that are taken and we’ve only seen one volunteer do anything. Lisa and Ken do not he jobs of at least 8 volunteers. I hope they are still there when we make it back next year.

Great park. sites have concrete pads. Fairly close but it's ok. Showers were great. Easy back in sites with water and elect. Dump station upon leaving the park. Very open area. Plenty of walking or biking within the park. The closed section is great for both. Not much near by. Be sure to visit the Heritage museum and view some real dinosaur tracks and artifacts. You will be in hill country. The lake is to low for boating.

The camp hosts were the best we have encountered. Above and beyond. Not to mention the best and cleanest bathrooms.
I hope we see them again in our travels. Thanks Lisa! Lisa and ken were awesome!

We had a wonderful 14 day stay in Site 16! The hosts are great. The campground is well kept and the restrooms are heated and clean. Our site was level and very large. Great sunset views. The lake is really down, but still beautiful. The weather could have been warmer and drier, but oh well we still adventured out on our motorcycle and in the Jeep. Luckenbach is a great place to visit and so is Fredrickson. If you get the chance Enchanted State Park, north about 1.5 hours, is awesome! We would love to return again!
