Beautiful, quiet, clean and great views. We were there for 4 days and plan to return. Easy back in with nice long sites. Several if not all have double parking and many are very room. Great park. Highly recommended.

We selected this site as it is centrally located to many fun Hill Country towns in the area. Site was spacious, with room for fifth wheel, pickup and an extra vehicle. Lake is down 48% but we were not there for water activities. Hookups were sufficient, showers clean, sites clean. Would stay longer if full hookups were available. Will return if in the area again.

Crain's Mill Park was pristine, with a well-maintained landscape that reflected a strong sense of personal pride in its upkeep. The Camp Hosts were both professional and personable, always ready to share information about the best places to visit as well as the park's history. Whenever a camper departed for another adventure, the Camp Host would promptly tidy up the vacated site for the next visitor’s arrival.
The restrooms were generally well-maintained, though they could benefit from new toilet seats. Additionally, the women's restroom needed a new hand dryer, as the existing one was no longer functional. The park did not provide paper towels, so it was important to remember to bring something to dry your hands when using the ladies' facilities. My husband noted that the men's hand dryer was in working order.
Unfortunately, the lake was down by approximately 50%, which was disappointing. However, the remaining water was still beautiful and offered great photo opportunities at both sunrise and sunset.

We had a one night stay at Cranes Mill Park. The campground was very nice and our site backed up to the lake. the lake level was very low with no access to the water at the time of our trip. We took a nice walk around the campground with is fairly large and saw a lot of deer and cacti.

Absolutely a perfect place of peace and quiet. Campsites were well spaced and included a covered picket table. Probably the cleanest and well kept COE recreation area you will ever visit. The trail down to the lake was well marked and recently groomed. The lake level is very low, but South Texas is suffering from 3 year drought.
