What Guests Are Saying
Potters Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with large, spacious sites and clean facilities, including highly praised bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the park's scenic views, making it a great spot for camping and exploring the Hill Country. While some areas of the park lack shade and the lake levels are low, overall experiences have been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The bathrooms were a disaster and out of toilet paper by Sunday. Only one ladies shower worked out of two.
We loved our site and the area outside was very clean and quite.

Have always loved Potters Creek park but was most disappointed on our latest trip! Restrooms never had toilet paper and were always filthy! Granted, it was Easter weekend and full but on the Monday after everyone left, the bathrooms were still filthy and not stocked! It seemed apparent there was a problem with volunteers/staffing. Hope this issue gets resolved.

We stayed in spot 50 in L2. We didn't like the fact that there was alot of stickers. Also the beach area has alot of glass pieces. Our area had lots of ants. No trees at this spot.

The campground was excellent. Wide, long and level sites. Clean. My problem was the family that was next to me who did not control the barking of one of their 3 dogs. Several times over a period of 3 days they left the dogs unattended and one of them barked continually.

They will not let you in before 3PM.even if your site is available. This seems dumb to have 5 or more RV's waiting outside the gate to get in. Then a mad dash to get in at 3PM.This 3PM. rule just makes it hard for everyone mostly the staff.

What a nice little slice of beauty this place is. One of the more peaceful campgrounds we have stayed at. We were in site #30 right down by the reseervoir. Having Just come from the south Texas beach where it was very windy, it was a very calming serene setting. The deer herd Grazed gracefully near the lake in the evening. campsites are very generously spaced. given that it was spring time it was fine that our site didn’t have any of the beautiful shade trees that some of the other sites have = which obviously are nice in the summer. Night time sky and stars were also wonderful.
Although we only stayed one night, we will definitely return, hopefully soon.

Great experience. Park very nice with great hosts and clean bathrooms and beautiful campsite.
Only complaint was finding out that reservation system lets you reserve 14 days at Potters creek and additional 14 days at Cranes Mill. We were told these are considered same campground and made us cancel Cranes Mill reservation causing lots of inconvenience and extra costs to camp trip.

Park is clean, safe, and easy to park RV for first-timers. And it is beautiful! I recommended.

We love coming to this place. We camp here at least 3 weekends a year. The shelters are a little run down, but overall it’s a good place to spend a weekend.
