What Guests Are Saying
Potters Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with large, spacious sites and clean facilities, including highly praised bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the park's scenic views, making it a great spot for camping and exploring the Hill Country. While some areas of the park lack shade and the lake levels are low, overall experiences have been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

This was such a well kept, clean park. We loved our visit there. Probably the best park west of 35

We stayed at Potters Creek park for 12 days in early November. The park was very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the lake. Even though the boat ramp was closed due to low water levels, my husband fished from the shore and fish every day. Restrooms were clean and park was freshly mowed. We will be going back.

Potter’s Creek has always been a favorite. It’s scenic and has lots of hiking paths. It’s a large park with campsites spaced far enough apart to enjoy sitting outside. Big rigs have many choices of sites. Trees are trimmed well. Reservations have never been difficult to obtain. There are many shaded sites and many unshaded along the lakeside. The camp hosts are helpful and make several rounds through the campground daily. The grounds are clean and grass is cut. The dump station is clean and can be accessed in two directions. I have recommended Potter’s to many friends over the years, and have camped here often.

Enjoyed our stay with our 3 Furbabies ! Like the fact that they close gate at 10 to keep late night partiers out. ground well kept and bathrooms/showers good but bring your own toiletries. got some great pictures of our dogs withe sunset and lake behind. will definitely be back! would be nice to have ice machine available at park we had to travel to local store just for ice. Please plan accordingly.

All very good. However the bathroom exterior lights were very bright which disrupted the dark sky, Could do with about half of what is there. Also interior fan runs 24/7 which seems to be a waste of energy.

Great campsite by lake .Open views , large pitches and nice grassy surrounds for the tent and quiet position.
Lovely surroundings and suited our needs for a 1 night stop over . Good toilet /shower facilities .
Only knocked 1 star off as the toilets were a good walk from our tent site …..otherwise everything was great .Thank you .
