Beautiful day at the park. Well maintained. Friendly people (both employees and hosts). We had SO much fun! If I need to rent a pavilion for a picnic again, I will DEFINITELY come back here.

The park is beautiful. Well managed and public use areas are always kept clean. There seems to still be alot of felled trees from recent hurricanes...so firewood is readily available around every branch...lol. We really enjoyed our time spent here over the Thanksgiving week.

We had a wonderful time and the park is so beautiful. The park attendants are very helpful and personable. We will definitely be back In the near future.

Great place to tent camp, very friendly camp staff. I stayed there for a hunt along the Trinity River NWR.

Very noisy campground and some maintenance issues. Two different camp sites had the same family and the music was so loud so late! They were even walking the trail around the lake with a big rolling speaker. We spoke to the camp host but nothing was resolved. And the light over the restroom was very bright which we didn’t mind at all but it was going out or something because it was like a strobe light all night. Trails were great and we enjoyed the walking but overall not at all a relaxing experience.
