This is a beautiful park, even under the current drought conditions. Facilities were clean and easy to access, campsites were well cared and provided ample shade.

Tree branches overhanging rv pad were too low for our fifth wheel causing me to park off to side of pad to keep from tearing the roof membrane of my rv. Minimum height for modern day campers clearance should be 14ft these branches were 12ft at best.

Facilities were amazing, it was a little sad there wasn’t a lot of people there. I dislike the fact you have to reserve a camping site online because I was on a road trip and just randomly decided to stop here, so it was a little odd especially since there weren’t many campers. But the place was amazing very pretty sunset and I camped under the amazing stars. This simple yet amazing lake has been special to many generations of my family with my grandpa taking my young mother here to camp it is a simple yet wonderful place to camp and enjoy all that Texas has to offer!
