Great campsite! This was a quiet pleasant stay during the week, and we had the place almost to ourselves. The only negative is the restrooms near us were not operational and we had to drive like 2 miles to get to the restrooms on another loop.

We had a great time the sites are always kept clean and mowed. We love coming there because nearly every site is good and we like that there is so much shade specially in the summer. The only thing we wish was different is Flat Rock sites don't have sewer and 4 to 5 days is all you can stay without hooking up your trailer and dumping it and then coming back and setting it up all over again it's just not worth the time and effort to do all of that specially if you are a senior. We will certainly camp there again but only on short trips because of the sewer situation. Being seniors we sometimes like to stay longer but we will have to use the places with sewer which are also very nice but there are not very many sites with sewer and they stay booked up so it is hard to get one of those sites. Love staying at Hordes Creek Lake

Drive slowly into the park as there are deep pot holes and cracks in the road. B loop has cement pads and are very level. A and C loops are also beautiful. There are no showers at the campground.
