Love camping at this park. So much wildlife and it is so serene there. They keep it pretty maintained and the shower and bathrooms are pretty clean. Only thing is that shower head where you have to lean into it to get water to spray out. We both learned not to dry off in the shower with our towels, because you might accidently spray yourself if you get too close to the showerhead sensor! LOL!

This campground is beautiful, and the hosts were welcoming. We reserved a spot as a simple overnight respite while traveling from West Texas to East Texas. We were delighted at the calm and peaceful surroundings. We had a pull-through site with full hook-ups so set up was easy. The only drawback is that we didn't have time to spend more days here. We would gladly return.
Make sure the lake level is up if you are interested in using the swim area.

This is one of our favorites! We only live about an hour away so super convenient. Lakeside is on of the nicest, well kept and cleanest COE’s we’ve been to. We highly recommend it, truly a hidden jewel!
