We go to this park many times a year and it’s always very nice and quiet sites that are spread out so you’re not to close to other campers

Liberty side was nasty. Will not be back. Online map of sites is completely different than actual sites. When booked site, it showed only 2 campsites in the area, got there and was at least 10. Trash all over the place. Trash left in burn pits. Restrooms were horrible. Had to drive to other end of the place to find a dumpster.

The pit toilets and some flush toilets weren't clean. The camp sites were clean. The park has lots of sites. Might go again.

We really enjoyed our drive-through lake view spot during the Thanksgiving break. Having sunset views over the lake was so nice. Park hosts & rangers were helpful and also spent time visiting with us and provided some helpful local knowledge. One disappointing thing was the #2 bathroom building was disgusting with human waste smeared on toilet seats & spider web build up with thousands of dead insects on all the walls. Clearly, it hadn’t been cleaned in a couple of months. (The ranger later told me that it was supposed to be closed). We’d definitely use this for an overnight or 2 again, but probably not a longer stay.
