When we made our reservations we had plenty of sites to choose from. Our site was level, paved and the length was quite sufficient for our camper. It had a fire pit and a picnic table behind our camper. I do wish they had been nearer to the door. We will stay at Liberty Hill park again.

We really like this park, we stay here many times. However, this time we camped in site 29 since it is a double site and my sister was coming with her 5th wheel also. Turns out that the electrical pole on the south side of the site had an open ground and the EMS on my 5th wheel would not let power into the trailer because of it. I went to the guard shack at the entrance and of course there was nothing that could be done, it was Friday. He did offer to move me to the emergency site, but the point was to be with my sister for the weekend. I was able to bypass the EMS and get power, but it was a potentially dangerous situation that stressed us out all weekend. Additionally, there were a lot of low hanging tree limbs on that site, my sisters RV roof got scratched and poked pretty good before I noticed and got up there with some trimmers to trim them as she was backing in. Other than that it was a nice time. The park definitely needs to fix the open ground on the electrical pole, and try and keep the trees trimmed better so that taller RV's dont ruin their roofs backing in.

This is our “go to” location. Always friendly staff and the park is always clean. Lots of shade trees and the spots are well laid out. We love Navarro Mills.

Had a quiet and relaxing time, the only thing I didn't like was, they were closing the marina store
