This was a nice, unoccupied place, even on a holiday. Primitive Campground, no power. That was expected. There were a couple of toilets and a small number of water spouts, not at every site. It was sufficient. I was surprised I could get a 4G and sometimes a 5G Verizon signal at some places on the campground because I could not get a signal for 10 miles on the road. Beautiful lake, quiet calm.

From Honey Grove, Texas, follow FM 100 north 12 miles to FM 409. Turn left and go west 5 miles to camp entrance on the left.
The campground is accessible via FM 100 and FM 409, which connect to other local roads. There are no major interstates or US highways within 25 miles.
