I have been to this campground many times. It's beautiful, well maintained and for the most place quiet and relaxing. However this trip was very different. I was there for 7 days and 4 of those days people in vehicles (not camping) would pull into campsites and spend the day into the night partying, swimming, BBQ'ing, playing loud music with dogs running around off the leash. I was forced into my RV with my dogs (who were leashed in my campsite) because their dogs ran loose and came into my site. This was such a disappointing vacation for me. There needs to be a campground host monitoring this and not allowing unpaid day use which ruins things for others who are paying to enjoy their campsite.

We loved our spot at Juniper Point(D1). The problem we had was the constant traffic and non campers hanging out in the area. There were cars at all hours of the day driving back to the tent camping area and then would return a little while later. We also saw multiple times people pulling in and utilizing the showers. They would then get back in their cars and drive off, one car even turning towards Oklahoma. The car & foot traffic was a bit unsettling. We will probably not return to this area because of this.

Be aware of scorpions and ants at this site. Fire pits needed cleaned out. Other than the scorpion bites,(which hurt like hell) it was an enjoyable weekend.
