Juniper Point - Simple Version: There are two sections, West and East, when booking it is a little confusing because doesnt say this, but the highway divides them. West actually didnt seem to have as many tent camping sites, it was a lot of RV and fishing area, but East was good for both, still a lot of RV's, but not only. Cell coverage was solid. Amenities were good, electricity and water worked. Windy as hell in some parts (we were C05 and damn was it windy). Nice places to walk. No one really bothering anyone else. Have some adult beverages till your heart is content! Would go again, and its like 1.5 hours from Dallas, which was nice. Also about 20 minutes out there is an area with grocery stores, fast food options, etc.
Longer Version: Definitely a great campsite, right along the water, but the only issue we had was its a lot more exposed to wind and what not because there wasn't much trees at our site. Would definitely go again, but because of the cold front that came in, it was pretty freaking cold and windy. It was a great place though, some RR's are well kept, others feel more like a hole in the floor, but it wasn't a bad stay at all. Pretty much what you expect of camping. Area was really nice, could walk around and really enjoy, but come prepped because the closest emergency shopping is a dollar general, which is great, but might not have everything you need.
Overall Happy Camper!

We always enjoy our stay at Juniper Point. Our Camp Host Lloyd and Sharon are the best! We are new RV owners, so are very new to all of the set ups and so forth. Lloyd has been great to not only insure that our camp is always in top shape when we arrive, but has been a God send on knowledge and Tips given to help us be more comfortable in our new experiences. Fishing and swimming are great! The kids love playing in the sand. Grass areas are always well kept! so the kids are able to play sports. We love coming here to Juniper Point and We always feel welcome!
