What Guests Are Saying
Platter Flats is praised for its cleanliness, convenient bathroom facilities, and beautiful views, particularly from the B loop overlooking Lake Texoma. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, helpful staff, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite camping destination. Some minor issues include noise from other campers and the need for maintenance on picnic tables and ant control, but overall, visitors express a desire to return.

I always love camping at Platter & felt this was the perfect opportunity to try out my new 41' rig... Just a couple of issues.... 1) The first major turn over a culvert, was way too tight & I was an inch from dropping off plus there are no markers visible at night.
2) The campsite was so full of leaves, we could not see the pad...at all.... would be great if there were markers there too...

We really had an overall good time. There are a couple of things that I didn’t like or understood. The first was the water hook up. It was 50feet away from the slot site. I have to go buy a longer hose and then it ran through the middle of camp. Deal breaker, no. Just a inconvenience. The second was kinda frustrating. We had 2 dirt bike rides ride through our site while we where eating lunch. Again deal breaker, no. Just don’t understand why they had to ride right through our camp when the one next to us was empty. But other then those 2 things. The park was clean. The view was amazing. We will be going back in a few weeks.

We had nice view of Lake Texoma. It was very quiet and peaceful. The restrooms were down the drive. We recommend to check out the Choctaw Cultural Center close by!
