What Guests Are Saying
Platter Flats is praised for its cleanliness, convenient bathroom facilities, and beautiful views, particularly from the B loop overlooking Lake Texoma. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, helpful staff, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite camping destination. Some minor issues include noise from other campers and the need for maintenance on picnic tables and ant control, but overall, visitors express a desire to return.

i love Platter Flats. one of my favorite sites on Lake Texoma. my only complaint is as with a lot ofsites on the lake are the railroad ties around the camp sites. B7 was the last site i was at. the rail road ties are so high that they are really dangerous for older people, especially at night. if they are above ground more than 2 inches they should be covered with dirt or gravel or they should be removed and just leveled off with gravel making it a lot safer for people. i will try from now on to pick sites with out the ties. dont know what purpose they serve but as for myself i dont like them. every thing else there is excellent.

We were not made aware of the electricity situation to where we needed a larger site for a larger camper. It would be helpful to have this communicated prior to reserving a spot. Several people in our group had electrical issues making us leery of coming back to this specific site.
