What Guests Are Saying
Platter Flats is praised for its cleanliness, convenient bathroom facilities, and beautiful views, particularly from the B loop overlooking Lake Texoma. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, helpful staff, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite camping destination. Some minor issues include noise from other campers and the need for maintenance on picnic tables and ant control, but overall, visitors express a desire to return.

The campground is very nice! However, I was tent camping from my motorcycle and the site didn’t have an area to set up a tent. I had to set up in the driveway which was gravel, but level and smooth enough. Walking around the campground, I didn’t see any other sites that had a tent pad. It’s definitely a great place for an RV.

The area around our camp was not mowed and weeds /grass were knee deep. This was my second 2 week reservation this year and the 1st time was just the same. Also the last night we lost power and it was a very cold night.

Tree fell on RV. Called Platter office and Core office - no answer from anyone. Trim the dang trees. I got 2 holes in my roof from the tree.
