What Guests Are Saying
Platter Flats is praised for its cleanliness, convenient bathroom facilities, and beautiful views, particularly from the B loop overlooking Lake Texoma. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, helpful staff, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite camping destination. Some minor issues include noise from other campers and the need for maintenance on picnic tables and ant control, but overall, visitors express a desire to return.

It might be a little difficult to find if you don’t know the location but it was a beautiful area to stay in. It was very clean and peaceful.

My family has been camping here in the same site B19 for the past 5 yrs. 3-4 times a year. This year we have only gone twice due to the floor. We love the spot. It’s tucked in a cove away from others, right on the water. I would give a 5 star this time but there were other tenants at a site just up the hill from us blasting music so loud we could hear it in our camper. I asked them once to turn down the music just a little bit it never changed. I know, it’s their sit they can do what they want, but Platter is a quiet place for people to come and relax and just enjoy the view. We were there for 5 days and they were there for 4 of those days. The music started at 8am and ended sharply at 10pm. So they know the rules. If not for the music it is a well kept camp grounds the bathrooms were cleaned daily. The grounds are clean. The sits are clean. It is a very beautiful spot. We will keep coming back every year. Oh, and the ants are ridiculous. Bring some home defense bug spray. This is the only thing I found that will keep them out. Again, we love the place, you will too.

Good slots, clean and good access to the lake. Looking forward to checking out trails next time. The rednecks wouldn’t settle down and be quiet. but what do you do? Will go back later in season when its too cold for disrespectful folks.

Had a great site down by the boat ramp loop. Beautiful view. The bathroom with flushing toilets were awesome. The pit toilet smelled so bad downwind. Definitely needs to be addressed.

Decent LTE from T-Mobile at B-15 picnic table (over 20mbps). Unfortunatly, the ants all over the site kinda ruined the experience. Hard to keep them out of the camper.
