Electric breaker tripped in the main panel and the “Gate Attendant” tried and contact a ranger to send a maintenance person out. However he couldn’t get a hold of anyone and was told there is no maintenance person available. Tim Mcalister Needs to be aware of the staffing issues. Also why hasn’t the park been upgraded to 50amp services?

We usually love this park. However this time there were a lot of grass spurs the kids kept getting in. As well as our camper was taken over by ants.

Enjoyed the stay. Nice spots with easy access and plenty of space from other campsites. Beautiful views of lake. Lots of wildlife too. If you bring a pet, be prepared for tiny burrs in the grass areas. We will definitely stay at the Bend again.

Quiet park, decent fishing, strong electric for the rv. Several deer walked by the campsite, as well as geese. Good times were had by all.

Friendly gate attendants! The deputy Sheriff patrolling was friendly and offered any assistance if needed. We enjoyed our stay.

We were just a short walk from the lake and had a shady spot. East 7 is well shaded where the camper is but using the picnic table for breakfast or dinner was in the sun, at least in early July anyway. The showers had spiders, but the park had newly opened after flooding so I wasn’t too surprised. All I. All, we had a good time away from the stress of home!

Loved the spaciousness, (nearest neighbor was behind us), loved the view of the lake and the sunset! Initially thought grass needed mowing but then realized sites were surrounded by bluebonnets - gorgeous!
Did not appreciate the marina just across the inlet belting out karaoke tunes Friday and Sat nights - for us it spoiled the camping vibe. Staff /hosts very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back, even to this site, but next time will try a site further away from the Marina!
