We scheduled and paid for the site and got to the campground around midnight and found that the entire park was closed and there was no way for us to get to our site.

Site 005: paved, slightly unleveled from left to right. Great water pressure (bring a regulator). 30 & 50 amp w/no trees around so it’s a good spot. There’s a small yard behind the site. In the morning a young deer was in it so the camera got some great pics.
Holiday Park is a miss or hit stay depending on who’s there. Our neighbors this trip over the June 5th weekend were great so our stay was too. I guess that’s the way it is at any campground. It was hot so the bathrooms were saunas in disguise, but otherwise as an older couple we very much enjoy camping there.

We have spent a couple of weeks here while in town for doctors appointments and have really enjoyed it (in spite of the heat). For summer, it’s important to choose a spot with plenty of shade, and we have stayed comfortable. People are friendly, it’s quiet, and you can’t beat the price - especially if you have a National Parks Pass.
The neighborhood deer frequent the area and there’s so many birds! Great place to get away while still close to the city.

Nice, quiet, and clean. We have enjoyed our time at Holiday Park. Our spot was nice & shady and we loved seeing the deer every morning & evening. Tonight we had a bunch of turkeys pass through! Rangers are friendly as are the other campers. Would be nice if the men’s room by the entrance was working.

The restroom was covered in dead bugs. It was so bad that it looked like a carpet of bugs.

The park was great the only problem was the tall grass.
Also I Don't care for pin pad addition I prefer a gate keeper.
