We love camping at Benbrook lake. I wish that Bear Creek could have nice grills like Holiday Park. I also was disappointed when I got there and the grass was really grower up but I understand we’ve had lots of rain. They did come to mow while we were camping. The mowing should be done during the week when the park is empty before the crowd gets there on the weekend. I sliot and fell on some gravel rocks because the grass was high and I could t see them. So maybe they could work on a schedule change for mowing & getting some grills. We will be back with our family for the July 4th celebration so we hope to arrive to a clean well maintained park.

Very good experience. Only negative is grass needed to be mowed. Entire park was 8” to 10” tall. Even in individual campsites. Restrooms were very clean. Campground was nice.

Very clean beautiful scenery. You see the deers randomly running through the trees. We caught a nice size largemouth bass so nice area for fishing.

Lake Benbrook Corps of Engineers, Bear Creek RV Park, is very rustic and quiet area. Our site was adequate with water and electric. The only downside it that the water hookup is located to the rear of the site. Fortunately we had extra water hoses that reached to out RV water hook-up. These sites are only 30 and 20 amp.
