A park with many beautiful sites, all closed to use due to delayed repair of water systems. Many deer. The area we were in looked to have been subject to flash flooding.

Beautiful spot on Benbrook lake. Campsites are spread out nicely. Friendly staff! Will be back soon.

Nice RV park. Had heavy storms and tornado warning the night we were there. We sheltered in a nearby men's room with our pets for about 30 minutes. Restroom was not very clean. Had some branches come down. A big one hit a nearby car, but the staff was out there rapidly taking care of it. Staff at gate were very friendly.

From Interstate 20 or 820 in southwest Fort Worth, take exit 429A for Highway 377 toward Granbury and go south 5.7 miles (9.2 km); turn left or southeast onto FM Road 1187 and continue for 1.4 miles (2.2 km), then turn left or east onto Ben Day-Murrin Road and continue another 1.6 miles (2.7 km) to the campground entrance.
Bear Creek is accessible via Interstate 20 or 820 in southwest Fort Worth, taking exit 429A for Highway 377 toward Granbury, approximately 5.7 miles away.
