New management needs to keep up with grass and pest control for the ants, the ants were bad around the site

Very nice place to camp. The deer will graze while you watch if you don't spok them. Peaceful and plenty of lake access. For both boating and fishing.

BEWARE! Site 49 has a big chopped off limb hanging right where you back in! Damaging to your roof, especially of your roofline gets taller toward the front.
Other than that, the campground was clean and quiet. The lake was low while we were there.

Beautiful campground setting. Saw lots of wildlife. My only complaint is the vegetation along the roads need to be trimmed. Branches were reaching out along the roads.

Great place to camp but not for boating being the lake is almost eight feet low and all the boat ramps are closed. You can thank TRWD for draining the lake to this low level by pumping 100s of millions of gallons of water out over the last 40+ days and not pumping a single gallon back in when they have the ability to pump 100 million gallons in per day. TRWD totally ignores the recreational aspect of the lake and could care less about the devastating impact it has on recreation.

Got a tent site this time. Sad to see the lake almost 8 ft low. Couldn’t fish cause the water was too far off the shore. Still it was a nice quiet getaway. Sorry to see tree removal going on at the park right now. Oak wilt has been a problem for a while. Glad to see the CORP doing some clean up. Hope it works.
