We have stayed at this location numerous times as we have grandchildren nearby and enjoy watching them play sports. The staff is always courteous and friendly. We enjoy the wildlife in the park … deer, beautiful ducks along the shore of Benbrook Lake and numerous birds of all varieties. Best of all is my husband’s favorite…roadrunner. Our golden retrievers enjoy watching the wildlife, as well. With all the wildlife, you would think you are far from civilization but groceries, restaurants and service stations are within a few miles. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an awesome outdoor experience.

Quiet getaway from the city. Lots of shady sites, good roads, new BBQ grills. Great fishing. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again!

We have been camping at Holiday in Benbrook for at least 10 years. This is the first time that we have had a bad experience. First thing was they would not let my son and his family come in the gate. They had to park outside the park. There was plenty of empty spots in visitor parking. We only had two cars for overnight. What’s the visitor parking for if not for the visitors.
Then they have two sets of restrooms under construction, understandable. But then the restroom by the gate got closed Also. So that left one restroom for the entire park, that restroom only had 1 working stall that worked. So there was always a line. Then on our final night we had a group of campers blaring loud music till at least 4 in the morning. There was also broken glass between our campsite and the lake. Like in 5-6 different areas. To be honest, I’m not sure I will be returning.

Easy check-in, I loved our site #32, which is close to bathrooms, entrance, and dump station. Great trees, access for our 30-foot Rockwood and Truck, and plenty of extra space for additional vehicles. Loved access to the fishing dock, and great views from our site. Saw amazing birds including bluebirds, cardinals, scissortail, egrets and so many more!
