What Guests Are Saying

Longhorn offers a clean and spacious facility with friendly and professional staff who are responsive to inquiries. However, there were issues with unclean areas, broken facilities, and maintenance problems, particularly in the restrooms and recreational areas. Despite previous complaints, the same issues persisted, leading to disappointment for returning visitors who value their family gatherings.

This is the perfect venue for our LSU Alumni chapter to have their crawfish boil every year! Beautiful scenery, covered picnic tables, and bathroom facilities are appreciated by all who attend. I will say that we had a little trouble with the lock on the gate, but finally got it to work.

I had a bad experience , the volleyball area was so bad. I had bought a new net but the area was so bad not even a mow would help . Also there was no running water in the sinks in the restrooms I had to purchase water jugs . It was not what I’m used to .

The grass should have been cut.
The debris from a recently cut tree was all over the area where the tree was cut. A smaller tree was not cut cut completely down and very sharp edges were still showing at least 3 ft tall. The volleyball pit did not have sand in it, but rather it had thorns and weeds. It was not a safe area. The net was terrible and should have been replaced. I have pictures to forward to corporate office or whoever is in charge .
The bathrooms are terrible.
We had out of town family members and it was very embarrassing.

My daughters bday party was amazing. Although there was no connection to a water hose we made it work. The grass wasn't tall like others said and there was running water.
