This is one of the nicest RV resorts that we have ever stayed at! As soon as we entered this resort through the electronically monitored gate, we knew this place was special. Just inside the gate, we found several white tailed deer staring back at us. Apparently, they live here. The main lobby is a gorgeous building and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Welcoming clubhouse and beautiful pools, full laundry, pickleball, cornhole and shuffleboard. We are traveling in our RV and we picked a great spot that sits on a large pond. All RV spots are wide, level, cement pad with full hook ups. There are several shower houses, which were clean and modern, as well as a dog wash and bagged ice for sale. This resort also has several tiny homes/cabins and these cool dome shaped huts to rent. This resort is about 20 minutes North of Fredericksburg, where it’s quiet and peaceful. Also close to Enchanted Rock, for some great hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return next time we are in the area.

We cannot get enough of the amazing views, activities, amenities and service here!!! The amount of personal touches that are present and all of the things the amazing staff does to make sure the guests feel welcome and taken care of are so incredible. We have the absolute best experience every single time we visit. There is no shortage of things to do and see on the resort but also, it is a quick drive to town to spend the day and the come back to enjoy the most incredible sunsets and starry nights you will ever see. The Skye wine, in all types, is so delicious and a fabulous added bonus to any stay. Such a hidden gem that should be enjoyed by all!

The grounds are meticulously cared for and the facilities are always spotless.

The pool and hot tub are so perfectly situated in a way that you are able to take in the peace and quiet and also watch the wildlife in their natural habitat.

If you are into fitness, check out the pickleball courts or take a really great walk or run on pavement or trails while being one with nature and taking in some of the freshest air and most beautiful sites.

The lodge is stunning with floor to ceiling windows and many comfy seats to relax while reading a book, playing a board game or checking emails or enjoying a glass of Skye wine bottled on site!

So many amazing things to say about this beautiful place run by the kindest people. If you are in the area, this is the perfect and only place to stay!

This was my second time staying and it confuses to be a great experience. The staff is extremely warm and welcoming, but also go out of their way to help. We forgot to bring a charger, luckily they were able to find one. Their sake selection is great, especially for us who aren’t wine drinkers and have many other amenities in the shop if something is missing or to take full advantage of the cabin. The resort itself is gorgeous, so many deer and wildlife all over the resort. And the cabins are great, they’re more like tiny homes but have everything you need both inside the cabin and around it to get the full glamping experience. I’ve stayed for two-day stays but with so much to do in the resort and Fredericksburg itself, I think I need more time to really enjoy all that the Skye Texas has to offer.

This is a place you don’t want to miss!! By chance I found this resort on bringfido, because I brought my dog on a bachelorette party trip. Money well spent, it was very affordable for 4 adults and 1 dog. The amenities are almost endless, service is top tier, the staff are so sweet and helpful, cabins are perfect for groups or solo. I didn’t even get to explore everything the resort had to offer. My friends and dog loved it. It’s tucked away and quiet and we felt very safe the entire time. I don’t think I’d stay anywhere else in fredricksburg besides this resort.

Skye Texas Hill Country Resort was the perfect getaway for our group of four families. The campsites and cabins accommodated all of us beautifully—comfortable, well thought out, and ideal for spending time together while still having our own space.

We loved every moment, from playing pickleball to soaking in the hot tubs while watching deer wander by (such a Hill Country dream!). Golf cart rides around the property were a hit with everyone, and the live music paired with charcuterie and wine made our Friday night feel extra special.

The owner has truly thought of everything, and it shows in every detail. The manager and staff were absolutely awesome—friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming.

Amazing memories were made here, and we can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend Skye to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and unforgettable Hill Country experience!
