The park was quiet, clean and beautiful.
The only issue was the bathrooms. They were not clean and neither water fountain functioned

Where to start? If Jim Hogg is full and you're in a pinch this park will work as long as your rig is under 35 ft. Very unloved sites, and trees all need to be trimmed.

The location was great for Austin, and there were plenty of stores close for any staples you may need. Crazy crowded on the weekends. The trash is what deserved the three-star rating. We were there for a week and noticed the same trash around the lake. We had to clean up our campsite upon arrival. This has been a trend across Texas COE campsites.

Good campsite with great view.
No hot water in showers again. Camped here in May and no hot water then. Should be an easy fix.

Nice camp site. The smell of cedar and the lake makes it a nice little spot.

Getting There
From I-35, take Farm to Market Road 2338 west for 3.5 mi to D.B. Wood Road. Turn left and continue for 2.5 mi. Turn right onto Cedar Breaks Road and follow signs to the park.

Cedar Breaks Park is accessible from I-35 via Farm to Market Road 2338, located approximately 3.5 miles from the interstate.

General
- Camping by reservation only. Reservations must be made online through Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.
- Gate house hours of operation are Friday through Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Hours may vary during Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.
- Park entrance gates close at 10:00 p.m. An emergency exit is provided.
- Maximum 14 day stay limit enforced. No extensions permitted.
- The number of personal vehicles per site is two. Additional vehicles are required to park in the overflow parking lot with the purchase of Daily Activity Pass and Additional Vehicle Pass provided by the Park Host at the gatehouse. Camping unit(s) on campsite may include only one RV, one tent, and/or two tents.
- Day Use Areas close at sunset.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Do not feed the wildlife
