Tejas Park offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience near the North Fork of the San Gabriel River, ideal for families and solo campers alike. The campsites are clean and well-maintained, with ample hiking trails and a safe environment thanks to the on-site caretaker. I've stayed here 3 different times recently. My only complaint is I did not discover this place sooner. The river is awesome.

The fire pit and grills needed to be cleaned but other than that the bathroom ls was spotless stocked with paper and it was very pleasant to be at

Great camp! Went as a solo camper and it was beautiful. Easy parking and solid sites. Camp overseer stays on site making it feel very safe. Very beautiful park and river as well. Check it out!

I wish there were spots closer to the water (river). Other than that it was amazing!! There is an outdoor latrine with toilet paper at the reading. In my opinion one of the only other downsides is that you "can't" collect firewood because it's a state park... I only say that because I was there for 4 nights and 5 days

Very underwhelming for camping. I'd describe it better as a place to drive to if you want to get out for a nice, quiet walk. Not a place I'd go back to for camping or hiking really.

The campsite was clean and easy to access. This is a great site for a youth group with lots of hiking trails and open space to play sports.

Nice, quiet, primative camp ground. Spent a few nights there and didn't get to see it in the daylight much. Warning: camp spot number 1 is right next to the road.
