My husband and i enjoyed camping at Tejas Park. It’s a secluded campground with a river & woods to explore. BUT after a few days we found a drug syringe hidden under a thin layer of dirt roughly 10 feet away from our tent. Since we were concerned about other families renting site 01 and children potentially finding dangerous items, we kicked around the dirt and found two more syringes strewn around and disposed of them. I would suggest camping at Russell Park or Jim Hogg until Tejas Park addresses this issue! (be careful if not)
we don’t want anyones children getting stuck and catching infectious diseases .

Very convenient to have a fire pit and bathroom nearby with a lot of green for pups!

Well kept campsites, walking distance to river. Trail kept clear of vegetation.

The campsites are great but the bathrooms are traumatizingly awful. I mean, if you have to use a latrine, you'd be better off driving elsewhere because the bathrooms are that bad.

Rude people and campsites too far away from parking.
