What Guests Are Saying

Tejas Park offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience near the North Fork of the San Gabriel River, ideal for families and solo campers alike. The campsites are clean and well-maintained, with ample hiking trails and a safe environment thanks to the on-site caretaker. While some guests noted the proximity of sites and the cleanliness of the outhouses as areas for improvement, the overall ambiance and natural beauty make it a worthwhile destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

Best campsite I've ever visited by far. Their sites are clean, and when out here you feel completely embedded in nature. Very quiet and clean weather. Some spots are close to the parking lot which provides easy access to your car which is nice. People are very friendly as well

My husband and i enjoyed camping at Tejas Park. It’s a secluded campground with a river & woods to explore. BUT after a few days we found a drug syringe hidden under a thin layer of dirt roughly 10 feet away from our tent. Since we were concerned about other families renting site 01 and children potentially finding dangerous items, we kicked around the dirt and found two more syringes strewn around and disposed of them. I would suggest camping at Russell Park or Jim Hogg until Tejas Park addresses this issue! (be careful if not)
we don’t want anyones children getting stuck and catching infectious diseases .

The campsites are great but the bathrooms are traumatizingly awful. I mean, if you have to use a latrine, you'd be better off driving elsewhere because the bathrooms are that bad.
