What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Breaks Park offers a beautiful and serene camping experience with spacious sites, a lovely lake, and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the park's proximity to Austin and the abundance of hiking trails. However, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms, require maintenance, and there have been concerns about cleanliness and crowding on weekends.

We have been visiting this park for about 20 years and love everything about it, except the bathrooms. They're in serious need of upgrading.

It was nice. The bathrooms/showers were in rough shape.

My favorite spot on the lake and everybody is always so friendly and helpful. We have already booked our next camping trip.

The park hosts were great and let us hold their hawks. We stayed at Site 27 and had a wonderful breeze off the lake and sunsets were amazing. The only downside was the extremely loud hip hop being played by a wake boarder boat but not much you can do about that.

Pros: Great lake views, spacious spots, fantastic pergolas on concrete pads.
Cons: Disgusting bathrooms, no sewers at sites, trail is exceptionally rough rock and requires hiking boots, trail is not visible on map apps.

This site was breathtaking especially with a lake few and all the surrounding forestry. Quiet, Clean, Peaceful secluded park. Security patrols conducted made me feel safe and secure. BJ the volunteer that greets you as you arrive, was so help explaining the layout and rules of the park and also how to make reservations to camp overnight. I will return to this location again.

Great place to camp with a variety of sites from right on the lake to up in the woods. Most sites have a slope to them and to level a longer rv (31 ft) I always have to use blocks to raise one end 6-& inches.
