What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Breaks Park offers a beautiful and serene camping experience with spacious sites, a lovely lake, and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the park's proximity to Austin and the abundance of hiking trails. However, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms, require maintenance, and there have been concerns about cleanliness and crowding on weekends.

Good park, don’t arrive late- they don’t even send you a gate code - better not arrive after the office closes, a visit to the camp host will be required if you do. Also bring your own soap if using the facilities- none at sink. Gross.

Cedar Breaks Park was a fun campout for our Boy Scout Troop. Many of the campsites are right along the lake with beautiful views. We did a 5 mi round trip hike to Crockett Garden Falls, which everyone loved. Our campsite had electricity and water and a covered picnic table area - everything was great! We will definitely return to this park for camping.

The overall experience was great! The site had plenty of shade and the bathrooms were pretty nice. I loved walking around the park and seeing all of the wildlife. My brother even found some fossils right at the campsite! The site also had a great view of the lake which was nice. Overall I feel that it was such a fun trip and I would go back in a heartbeat.

I like having a view of the lake, and the covered picnic tables.
