The spot was good, the restrooms were just far enough away. The view of the lake was soothing and nature was incredible.

Very popular camping site between Austin and Waco. Beautifully located on the Lakr Georgetown. I arrived on Memorial Day weekend and, unsurprisingly, the park was at capacity. Hikers were parking outside the park and walking in. The RV reception was well organized and ready for my arrival. There wasn’t a map provided at check-in just an urgently spoken set of directions that worked out fortunately. I got to the Campground gate but had forgotten the code but luckily there wasn’t another camper behind me. Spots were roomy with plenty of area between and were paved. A covered patio area was there for each site with a picnic table.

Restrooms are in very poor cleaning conditions. Showers are cold. Other than that, great place to spend a few relaxing days.

We love this park! We have stayed several times. Much quieter than Jim Hogg. Family oriented, quiet and clean. Will return again.

I really enjoyed staying at the park. This was our first time to visit the park and were please with it. I would suggest trimming some trees along the roadway. Many are hanging into the roadway making it difficult to miss with the trailers.

Cedar Breaks is our "home away from home". A perfect getaway for us, just 40 minutes away from central Austin. The sites are great and the lake is beautiful and quiet.
The downside- facilities are badly in need of repair/replacement. The roofs on the shade structures have been in bad shape for years, and the bathroom facilities are pretty worn out. It's a shame to see Corps of Engineers facilities in this sort of condition.
