What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Breaks Park offers a beautiful and serene camping experience with spacious sites, a lovely lake, and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the park's proximity to Austin and the abundance of hiking trails. However, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms, require maintenance, and there have been concerns about cleanliness and crowding on weekends.

We love coming to cedar breaks but monitoring of other campers seems to have fallen to the wayside, drivers driving the wrong directions, speeding through the camp ground, dogs inning off leash and one camp volunteer who threw pizza towards dumpster at dump station from her car.

We stayed for 2 nights, it definitely needs upkeep. The patios need a new roof. Water was dripping from the roof. It wasn’t packed except for what seemed to be a homeless person with some sort of mental disturbance. She kept vandalizing and pooping on the floor. I reported it to the host . They went and replaced the toilet paper but did not clean it. To say the least it wasn’t our best time there. Too bad, we really enjoyed this campsite in the past.

Nice park with lots of good sites and very quiet during the week. We’ve been here before and will visit again.

Was pleasantly surprised. Such a beautiful park with great sites right on the water. What more could you ask for. Only draw back is the traffic you have to fight to get there.....but it's worth it. Will be back for sure.

The park is beautiful. The bathroom was disgusting and never saw a park Ranger during our 48 hour stay.

I've lived in the Georgetown area for thirty plus years and this is the first time that I ever stayed in this park. But I needed a place to overnight in the trailer to check it out before I took it on a long trip. I was very impressed with the accommodations - many trees, but trimmed for fifth wheel trailer. My space was quite large when compared to many state parks (This is not a state park), and 50 amp power is readily available. The spaces are easy to back into (the pavement is wide and the angle works) and there are two restrooms within easy walking distance of my spot. The lake, which is currently full, is easily accessible and trails are plentiful (I recommend Crockett Gardens). I would highly recommend this park to anyone visiting this area.

Nice camp site. The smell of cedar and the lake makes it a nice little spot.

Good campsite with great view.
No hot water in showers again. Camped here in May and no hot water then. Should be an easy fix.
