Willow Beach RV Park & Marina

We booked two spaces for 10/9 to 10/12 one for us and one for our daughter. We have one small dog and they have two larger dogs. We arrived first and backed into our grass cover space. We got out of the truck and let our dog out and she immediately started limping and yelping. I picked her up and saw that her paws were covered with goat head stickers and so were our shoes and truck tires. We had to lay her down in the back seat and spend 10 minutes picking the stickers out of her feet and fur. We noticed the lady who registered us walking our way. When she got to us she explained that they had been trying to get rid of the goat heads but were having no success. She obviously knew what was going to happen since she knew we had a dog and knew about the stickers. This is not a place for week long or weekend rv'ers. The only trailers we saw there were permanent residents. We fortunately were able to book two spaces at a beautiful park around the corner. Possum Kingdom RV Resort & Marina. We requested a refund from both the resort itself and from RJourney, the resort owner, and were denied.

I really like this place. We found it by accident. We where taking my mom camping for her birthday and we b9ok a place and it turn out to be horrible. So I went on the look for something else and came across willow beach and asked if they had a cabin to rent for 2 days and they said yes. What was very awesome was with me showing up at the last minute to rent a place. They were so nice and helpful and everyone plus the staff was so friendly. We are going to come here for future vacations and I highly recommend it to anyone that likes staying in cabins or have an rv.

Was lucky enough to have a work project at Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas! Even greater luck was finding a cottage for rent at Willow Beach RV Park and Marina. The manager was amazing. Prices were unbelievably affordable, especially this time of year! It's 1.3 miles from the job and just the best little cottage with a loft. They supplied EVERYTHING except clothes to wear and food. BEST ACCOMODATIONS AND STAFF EVER!!!
Presently they have 2 "cabins or cottages" for rent. They're in the process of clearing the land for 8 more cabins coming in, a dog park and playground. So, definitely contact Willow Beach for lodging or RV spots, if you're coming this way!
Hell, I don't want to leave here! A cottage on the banks of Possum Kingdom Lake is Awesomeness on a daily basis!
