What Guests Are Saying

Texas Rose RV Resort is noted for its cleanliness and secure gated environment, with a nice concrete setup. However, it lacks essential facilities like showers and laundry, and many guests report excessive and unclear fees that can lead to higher monthly charges. Communication is primarily over the phone, and guests have experienced issues with deposit returns and water availability, particularly during inclement weather.

Stayed for a couple months this winter. This is definitely the cleanest camp in the area, due to the cement. But that’s the best thing I can say about it. No office, no facilities like showers or laundry, but it’s the highest price park here, plus it’s way out of town. The lady you talk to over the phone because you’ll never see anybody, takes your card info and will charge you automatically each month, but pay attention to your invoice because on top of the rent and electric there’s lots of random fees. A fee to pay, that is variable each month, then just random miscellaneous fees that rack up each month, expect to pay probably 800-850 a month. Also I had a family emergency and wanted to move out on the third, I notified her on the first, the day the rent is due, but because I didn’t give more notice she wanted me to pay for an entire month again, just to stay two extra days, instead of just letting me pay my electricity and then just pay for two extra days until I moved out. Thankfully I did not put that much in my account so she could not charge me for the full month or she would have. And finally after much haggling back and forth all day and her threatening to call the police I finally got her to agree to what I wanted to do. Pay strict attention to every detail of the rules and regulations and there’s a lot. And expect extra charges. And don’t expect your full deposit back.

Wanted me to turn my water off for 3 days and have no water during a snow/ice storm, charged me for dripping the spigot so it wouldn’t freeze, charges $30 fee but don’t have any other option for me to pay for the site so I can avoid the fee. No maintenance people no office never seen or talked to anyone representing the campground other than on the phone this campground is by far one of the worst places I have ever stayed!

I'm loving this place so far. The WiFi goes out pretty often, but comes back on later in the day. Sandra is really nice too rent from!

Having a gated rv park is nice, but when the sprinklers come on in the evening, it stinks up the whole park. Literally smells like old urinal piss. You can’t even enjoy being outside 🫠. Also, the concrete padding is nice too, just not the $30 card fee every month on your bill.
