Great Escapes North Texas offers a fantastic family-friendly experience with numerous activities for all ages, including fun water slides and a Wibit floating obstacle course. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere, and the cabins are well-equipped and comfortable. While some guests noted issues with unruly behavior and noise during peak times, overall, many families left with positive memories and a desire to return.

Had a wonderful stay with adults and children 10-2 yrs. There are so many things to do! The cafe and ice cream areas were nice. The entire park was spotless. All our questions were answered by friendly staff. All kitchen and bathroom items were provided in our cabin including soap, shampoo, conditioner, tissue, paper towels, coffee, salt, pepper, ect. We really enjoyed an economical getaway.

10/10!!!! My family and I visited great escapes RV resort. And we were pleasantly surprised! The park was amazing. Super kid friendly lots of activities and things to do. The waterslides were awesome for little kids as well as bigger kids. My daughter is 12. We had fun doing pet as well as riding on the hayride. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart. Everything is in walking distance, but in the heat, it is nice to be able to drive from a one end of the park where our RV was to the pool. And the wibit floating obstacle course was amazing! Definitely recommend doing the water balloon water war.

We had an amazing time at Great Escapes North Texas! We took a trip for our daughter’s birthday and she said it was the “best birthday ever!” All of the staff, no matter the department, were friendly, helpful and so kind. They all made our daughter feel so special! When a few issues popped up ( because nothing ever goes completely right) the general manager and assistant manager were quick to help and solve the issues. The people working at the activity center were so awesome helping our daughter with all of the crafts and activities she wanted to do, and the front office staff were amazing and friendly anytime we need anything.

We came to RV camp for the 4th of July mainly to have access to the Wibit course. The staff were very nice and they had plenty of scheduled activities. The Wibit was fun but there were only two tables with shades so be prepared. We did not really enjoy our stay for several reasons: too many unsupervised kids everywhere. Many were flying through on electric scooters cutting through campsites and one kid let her dog take a dog toy next to our picnic table. Plenty of adults drinking and driving golf carts, some sites were over-packed and cars/golf carts in the streets. Loud music eminating from some sites the whole trip (one site was hard metal with tons of cuss words), and not to mention drunk adults cussing out their kids in public. The swimming pools were also cloudy (we did not try the water slides). For $400 for 3 nights its down in our lowest rated camping experiences, but some people may not mind all of this. We did not share complaints with staff but just left a night early and did the 4th at home. Take this info how you'd like, maybe it's better outside of holiday dates.

We just got back home from our weekend getaway at Great Escapes North TX. The cabins are comfortable, and all the staff were helpful and friendly. My kids loved our trip and we cannot wait to go back for another weekend.
There is something for the kids/family to do every hour. Some activities cost extra but there are many activities that do not and they're all fun. This place has 3 pools (1 of them for volleyball) and a little splash pad on one side of the resort and the water slides splash pad area is on the other side. Kids loved going back and forth to each one. You can also play some mini golf with the family which gave us a shaded break from swimming. Overall this place was truly amazing for us. The managers are doing great things for this resort and we can't wait to return.
