Our stay at Willis Creek Campground was quiet and uneventful. I wish it had full hookups and at a minimum, 50A electric. Without these it lacks availability for modern campers. But what it does have is fantastic volunteers. They quickly changed my site when I could not get level on the one I reserved. And when I went to leave I wanted to avoid the one-way tire spikes and they opened the gated exit for me. Great camp hosts.

Replace your wiring. For 3 straight days we had nothing but problems. The wiring in this park is in need of replacement and upgrade. We will never go back to this park until improvements are made.
And why after all the updates were made to Taylor Park is it only open for 6 moths of the year.

As per previous visits to Willis Creek Park, the campsites were clean and tidy as well as the restrooms. One of our favorite parks to camp at .

The group site was a great choice for us! The kids could run around and we didnt have to worry about bothering anyone near by.
There's a little trail down to the water where we sat and floated.. the water was calm and it was a nice little area.
The covered shelter has electric and water, theres two fire pit rings and a few grills on site along with a volleyball net and lots of sweet cows just outaide of the barbed wire fence.
The grouo site has its own dedicated compost toilet facility, but we ended up using our own or driving up to the main bathrooms at the RV sitea because there were loads of spiders in and around the toilets.
The camp hosts were very nice informative as well!
We will be back to camp in the group site again!

The park was great except from it only has 30 amp. We stayed during the week but weekend came and power went out every 5 min. After 5 hrs we packed up and left. It was father's day. We had just stocked up on food and needed that fridge. We have 43 ft fifth wheel.

Gate closes too early without a way for registered campers to re-enter after they close. We stayed for a softball tournament that had the potential to run late and would’ve had to forfeit if the need to leave early to get back arose. Most COE campgrounds have gates with codes. This was our 4th or 5th time staying here and this wasn’t a policy in the past. Probably won’t be back bc the gate guard said if we came in late, we could call someone but they “might or might not” answer. That’s literally their job. Also, shower stalls need a lock.

It’s unimaginable! We have never felt more welcomed and accommodated. Dave and Nita… Joe and Cindy… and of course Craig! We have recently retired and started our adventure. We have found a new family, which we’re most thankful for. They work harder than I’m sure the job requires. They don’t just sit in the booth. Although that’s required. They do it all.! Always feel safe. Sometimes even on their day off, they always have a presence… keeping the park. perfect. Best Park Hosts we could imagine! Well, I would never take the time to extend kudos to those that don’t deserve it. But I think this is worthwhile time spent…spending time at Willis Creek Park is a blessing. Give credit where credit is due. I think most would agree. It’s a great experience..
