The park was great except from it only has 30 amp. We stayed during the week but weekend came and power went out every 5 min. After 5 hrs we packed up and left. It was father's day. We had just stocked up on food and needed that fridge. We have 43 ft fifth wheel.

Gate closes too early without a way for registered campers to re-enter after they close. We stayed for a softball tournament that had the potential to run late and would’ve had to forfeit if the need to leave early to get back arose. Most COE campgrounds have gates with codes. This was our 4th or 5th time staying here and this wasn’t a policy in the past. Probably won’t be back bc the gate guard said if we came in late, we could call someone but they “might or might not” answer. That’s literally their job. Also, shower stalls need a lock.

It’s unimaginable! We have never felt more welcomed and accommodated. Dave and Nita… Joe and Cindy… and of course Craig! We have recently retired and started our adventure. We have found a new family, which we’re most thankful for. They work harder than I’m sure the job requires. They don’t just sit in the booth. Although that’s required. They do it all.! Always feel safe. Sometimes even on their day off, they always have a presence… keeping the park. perfect. Best Park Hosts we could imagine! Well, I would never take the time to extend kudos to those that don’t deserve it. But I think this is worthwhile time spent…spending time at Willis Creek Park is a blessing. Give credit where credit is due. I think most would agree. It’s a great experience..

This campsite exceeded all expectations! The grounds were immaculately kept, with freshly cut grass and a spotless environment. The view of the water was absolutely stunning, providing a perfect backdrop for our camping trip. What truly set this place apart was the peaceful atmosphere – it wasn't overcrowded at all, allowing us to relax and enjoy nature without feeling cramped. The convenience of having a dump site for our camper on the way out was great. The dump site instructions were also a plus as it was our first trip in our very own camper! Above all, the host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We can't wait to return!

Massive family reunion took over all the sites around us. Their kids had no respect for our campsite and their noise went well past quiet time. Camp host did not come through to monitor their late night noise.

We really enjoyed our stay at Willis Creek. The sites are spacious and most have a view of the lake. The campground is well maintained. We appreciate all the wonderful camp hosts, especially Craig. Upon checking in, we learned there was an issue with the site we had reserved, something to do with trees requiring trimming. Craig quickly found us another site, and later he dropped by to see how we were settling in and to ensure our satisfaction of the site change. During our stay, we would see Craig out and about attending to the many details of the campground. He does an excellent job as a liaison between campers and the Army Corp of Engineers, juggling constant changes of schedules and situations.

Nice area. Roomy spots. Camp host gave helpful info about the area. Roads to the park were pretty rough.
