Restrooms were being repaired and out of order. We were not informed at the time of check in.

Beautiful park, small and quiet. Deer and armadillos are a true Texas experience. The park host are absolutely the best. We met Craig on our first trip and he has been extremely helpful and full of knowledge. The time we have spent here will definitely be repeated. Our new favorite place to camp!

Quiet place to relax for the weekend. Would have given it a 5 if the facilities were working (toilets/showers).
It did appear that they allow long-term camping. Saw several campers moving loads of crap from one site to another (far more stuff than just a weekend or week stay) while we waited for the campers in our site to move all their stuff (2 hrs of moving) to an open site just two spaces down. It just made those spaces look shoddy. Not a good look for the campground.

The park hosts overall were fantastic and accommodating. They have reinstated our faith in the park hosts of America! It’s rare to find such individuals who take pride, above and beyond their voluntary duties. We cannot say enough about Craig and the gang. Willis Creek is a great boutique camping spot. Fishing on Granger Lake is exceptional.

Always enjoy this park. Had a problem with restrooms overflowing and had
to close it down. Luckily we were at a site with sewage.

Sites were decent size but grass was way overgrown. Ended up using a weed whacker to trim the grass on the site. Park showed it was fully booked but only half the sites were occupied.

Camp host was friendly and informative. Site was clean and huge, I especially loved the covered table space. Unfortunately the water is dried up and none of the sites had immediate access to water. Boat ramp was a bit of walk. Drove to 2 different parks about 15min away for fishing. We left a night early since we had decided last minute to camp at one more site but everything was booked. Lovely place!

This park is small and can be very windy. This spot has shade but I got infested with Ants this last visit. Bring some kind of ant control. There are also a lot of spiders for some reason this time of year August. Power went down for 2+ hours and when I called to report it and gave the address of the Park they could not find it in their system. The customer service is automated so it's a computer that will ask you over and over for your "Account Number" or meter number. If you want to swim and bank fish the lake this is not the park for you. But you can bank fish some of the creek. YMMV.
