Beautiful lake. We wondered why the pier is not open. Bathrooms were nasty and very smelly. Showers did not work properly. On-site park hosts were kind and helpful - appreciated their assistance.

We loved this place! Very spacious, beautiful flowers! Bluebonnets, Indian Paint Brush! Wild yellow flowers! By a lake! Dark night sky for viewing the stars! Great place for the Total eclipse Viewing!!! We would highly recommend! We are from Northeast Georgia and this was by far our favorite camping site so far on our journey west!

Very nice scenic park with spacious camp sites. Only issue I had was the street light stays on all night. So it's a lot of light coming through the tent if you are at a site near the bathroom.

I really enjoyed this campground. It’s nicely kept and it’s small and intimate. I had site number two for a week and I was sad to go. It only gets four stars because the connectivity there is up-and-down. Most of the time I had only one or two 5G bars through AT&T. Otherwise, I have no complaints at all.

This is a decent spot #26. There are nice shade trees. This can be a very windy park... very windy. There is one MAJOR downside to this spot. You step out of your rig to the neighboring spots fire ring. So if they light a fire and the wind shifts it will smoke you right out of your rig. Fortunately this did not happen to me. But there were tent campers which pitched right behind me for a couple of days (Weekend) and they were pretty noisy. Other than that this is a nice little park with relatively flat spots and good water pressure. Cell service varies but it is not bad With the exception of 1 or 2 spots most every spot in the park is pretty good. Unless you have water craft this is not a good place if you expect to hang out next to the lake. You can however hike up the creek and fish from the short. AGAIN this park can be super windy . You will hear the Cows and Coyotes. I did not notice any discernible smells, but you are surrounded by farmland. Enjoy. BTW: The camp hosts at this park have always been excellent. I have stayed a few times.

Small, quiet campground with level site just above the lake. Clear bathrooms, but cold, timed showers.

We really enjoyed our clean campsite as well as the camp hosts. We will be making this one of our go to places to camp in the future. I will identify this as one of the Gems of Texas in my news articles.
