The park is a ways out of the Austin area but once there, we found the park to be nice and well cared for.

Bathrooms were horrible.Of the 2 bathroom facilities, one had no hot water for showers, the other had only one working shower in the women’s side, some of the sinks didn’t work, one toilet didn’t flush, shower curtains were moldy and fixtures were in need of repair.
On the plus side, the camp sites were nicely spaced.

Very nice campground with lots of space between the sites; the concrete sites are very level, which we appreciate. Our grandkids loved having the playground so close. The bathrooms could use some updating but worked fine, except the water for the showers was not hot at all. We would return to this park again.

I'm sure this open an airy campground deserves a five star rating but I was there during the ice storm in Feb 2023 so spent most of my time in my RV trying to stay warm and dry. My site was nice and level with a secondary spur to park your vehicle plus the covered picnic table offered an outdoor spot out of the rain.

My family had a great time out at the park. The spot we reserved was well shaded with enough room for our kids and our dog to play. It was very quiet, no issues at all. I recommend taking the short drive to the lake and going swimming/fishing when the weather permits.
