We stayed here three yrs ago and it was very nice. It has been very disappointing our last two stays. The restrooms and showers are littered and filthy, not just one day, but the same filth 2 or 3 days in a row. It is not taken care of at all.
It’s a beautiful campground but we will probably not revisit because of the lack of care.

As always, nice roomy sites. Spring break so busy with lots of neighbors who were very respectful!

The site I will rate a 5 star. The bathrooms are terrible!
!!WARNING!! NOT CLEANED FOR COVID!
Two stall bathroom on the men's side, one was unusable, and not cleaned the whole weekend.
Bathrooms need maintenance, and need to be upgraded.
If you don't have a restroom on board your rig, user beware of bathroom conditions.
It is noted, Use at own risk!
The restrooms are the only down fall!

Site number 8 was lovely, very private and set back from road, easy access to lake and nice views. Bathrooms could do with some attention ( no hand soap, but it seems rare to find a campground with soap in bathrooms these days!)

Nice quiet and clean park. There was no attendant at the gate. Make sure you have gate lock combination before you get there. Sites are back in level concrete pads. Sites are far apart (sites 1-15) are little closer. Didn't use the rest rooms so can't comment on them.

Site 15 has access to the lake. You just need a rope and good spiky shoes to hold on to the loose soil as you climb up and down toward the lake. Motor boats riding all night across the lake both at 10pm, midnight, 2am. Unable to sleep because they were so close to shore...Directly across the playground so I could watch kids playing as I cooked was great. Corner camping spot with lots of open space, non trees so we weren't crowded with other campers although the camping site was full. This site gets sunrise and full sun all day. Having sunshades to block sun during the day is ideal.

We enjoyed Wilson Fox because site 28 was large with large open areas to throw the ball around with our grandson. The site was well kept, grass was cut.

One of the most scenic campgrounds in Central Texas with wide open spaces between sites, lake views, restrooms with showers, a fishing dock, a swim area, and two boat launches. They even rent small cabins.
Like all Army Corp of Engineers campgrounds from Texas to the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon it is a cut above the rest in facilities and care.

It wasn’t the best of weather scenarios but overall the stay at the park was great. Not much I would change. Park host was very friendly and park overall was extremely quiet. The amount of nature from birds to deer was remarkable. Only minus would be the restrooms, only had to use once and it was really one time too many.
