The shelter we stayed in was updated with new paint and sliding doors on the windows. This helped keep the room warm and it looked very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

We were in a great site (24) that was quiet and partly shaded. The distance between sites at this COE park is really nice. We drove through the park before making reservations to decide which sites would be best for us - 38 ft, 3 slides, Class A. We look for level sites with trees that are not too close. This site was nice for us. WiFi hot spots and speeds were just ok; Sprint better than Verizon and neither great. Some areas of the park are better. We would not recommend the sites near the shelter sites as there were lots of extra tents and cars every time we’ve been here. We chose to wait on dumping as the dump station on the tree side is rather rough and too close for our comfort. It would also be great to extend the hiking trails from the dam, through this park, to Taylor Park (which we had hiked on a previous occasion).

Beautiful location. Our site was amazing. We took our 4 year old granddaughter for her first RV camping (first camping trip for her).
The park has a nice playground and open field.
The day use area wasn’t opened . That kinda stunk because we couldn’t take her to the water. Needs more areas to fish from the bank. Wish there was some hiking trails.
The first problem we had with our site was the trail that lead down to the water. Very steep incline and would be hard to get down and back up. The biggest problem we had was the people next to us. They were socializing with friends while a bunch of young children continued to run directly through our campsite along side of our covered picnic table area. They would go down an area in their camp area to the water and then back up ours or vice versa. The parents not once told these children to stop going through another persons site. These young children (age young as 5 and maybe as old as 10), were being allowed to play near the lake unsupervised. It was quite a drop off from the campsites so there was no way the parents could see them. So just FYI if you camp in site 15 (which is an amazing site) you might have kids running through your site. It’s wouldn’t have been a big deal if they hadn’t been running right next to our stuff.
Parents need to watch their children. Teach them to respect others campsites. Do not let young children play near the water unsupervised.

I really like the layout of the park. But if you need to go to there restrooms, beware they are in poor shape and very dirty. Also had a couple of dogs running loose around are campsite.

Love the view. Beautiful lake, easy to back your trailer in. Looking forward to our next adventure.

Best COE park that we have been too. Plenty of space between sites and well maintained. Will be back again in the future.
