We are always greeted so cordially and we feel very welcome and appreciated.
The park is kept clean and nice and the recent improvements to grills and firepits are great.

Beautiful park by the lake. Nice for walking. Close to shopping and not too far from Dallas.

I reserved three nights and the morning I was supposed to leave I decided to book one more night. At 2 pm a loud knock on my camper door and a man aggressively told me I was late for check out. I explained that I reserved another night. He demanded I show proof. As a long time frequent camper at this park, it’s somewhat insulting to be treated this way. I pulled out my phone and showed him the reservation. He stated that he could not read it without his glasses. He insisted I show him the confirmation number. I showed him the confirmation number. Then he demanded that I tell him when exactly I made my reservation. At no time was he polite, respectful, so I shut the door in his face when he asked me what time I made the reservation after seeing the confirmation number. there’s absolutely no way he would have spoken to my husband, the same way he spoke to me. After much thought and consideration, I’ve decided to stop supporting this park. I know that I can go to a nearby state park for about half the price with much cleaner restrooms, and much more professional and respectful staff.

This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we've ever stayed at. It has beautiful views of a gorgeous lake. There are a lot of deer, ducks and other wildlife. The only thing that is not perfect is the bathroom.
